Giorgos Bakoyannis, Biostatistics Visiting Assistant Professor, and colleagues receive ENAR RAB Poster Award at 2015 Spring Meeting

Giorgos Bakoyannis, a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Biostatistics, received an ENAR Regional Advisory Board (RAB) Poster Award at the 2016 Spring Meeting of ENAR in Austin, TX for his poster entitled "A maximum profile pseudolikelihood estimator for the proportional cause-specific hazards model under outcome misclassification". The work, which was done with Professors Ying Zhang and Constantin Yiannoutsos, was based on data collected in the "International epidemiological Databases to Evaluate AIDS (IeDEA) East Africa Regional Consortium led by Dr. Yiannoutsos and an NIH biostatistics methods grant led by Dr. Constantine Frangakis at Johns Hopkins University.
