Dr. Ziyue Liu wins the 2015 American Statistical Association Outstanding Statistical Application Award
Dr. Ziyue Liu, Assistant Professor of Biostatistics, won the 2015 American Statistical Association Outstanding Statistical Application Award for his work on the statistical modeling of hormone data. His paper, titled "Modeling bivariate longitudinal hormone profiles by hierarchical state space models”, was published last year in the Journal of the American Statistical Association. This prestigious national award was established in 1986 for recognition of significant applications of statistical methods in scientific research. The award will be presented on August 9th at the 2015 Joint Statistical Meeting in Seattle, Washington.
